Triara already had player battles, faction war and encounters while hunting. What it lacked was a place to measure not only whether your team can win one fight, but how many fights it can chain together before falling. That place is the new dungeon.
One run, one team
The dungeon unlocks at level 10. Starting a run costs one action point and takes a snapshot of your active team: champions, positions, pets, abilities, equipment and potions. From there you advance floor by floor without paying another point for every battle.
Persistence is the rule that defines the mode. Health lost on one floor remains lost on the next, and a defeated champion does not return to the party. A narrow victory may be enough to advance while leaving the following battle almost impossible. Abandoning lets you begin again from floor one; your best record remains.
Five chapters beneath the castle
Every chapter runs for 27 floors and ends with a boss. The Forgotten Crypts lead into the Arcane Conclave, the Withered Grove, the Blood Sanctuary and the Conquerors' Hall. Enemies and scenery change with each section while their power rises continuously.
Every nine floors you meet Valden, a wandering wizard who restores part of the health of allies still standing. He does not revive fallen members, so reaching him with four survivors or only one completely changes the value of that rest.
Risk, reward and record
Every victory grants experience and coins, with amounts rising as you descend. Checkpoints and bosses can award chests, while the deeper floors have a chance to drop legendary equipment exclusive to each chapter. The most unusual loot appears late so that going truly deep matters.
Your best cleared floor is saved even after the run ends. A ranking lists the 50 players who have travelled farthest, which means the goal is not merely to clear a fixed set of rooms: it is also to discover where the community's current limit lies.
Prepare before entering
The dungeon uses the same automatic combat as the rest of Triara, so skill still lives before the fight. Formation, roles, pets, equipment and the moment you choose to use a potion all matter. Here, a small weakness is not paid for once: it follows you throughout the run.
That is the gap I wanted to fill. The Arena asks whether you can beat the opponent in front of you; the dungeon asks how far everything you have built can really endure. The doors are now open in Triara. Bring your best team and see which floor it can reach.
