Pet training is now something you play, not just a button

Triara training field adds three short exercises. Memory, precision and navigation now determine the quality of every pet improvement.

Three short exercises turn pet training into something you actively play.

Pets are part of a Triara team: they guard, attack and add power to a champion. Improving them, however, remained far too abstract. You chose a pet, pressed a button and received a result without doing anything. The new training field replaces that transaction with three short exercises.

Three ways to train

  • Follow orders: watch a sequence of sit, jump, attack and wait, then repeat it. Every round adds another order.
  • Precision strike: stop the marker inside the target area across five rounds. Movement accelerates and leaves less room for error.
  • Guide the pet: cross a grid of obstacles and reach the flag. The available direction changes on its own, so part of the challenge is knowing when to move and when to wait.

They all last only a few seconds. They are not meant to become separate games, but to make spending an action point involve a visible choice and a little skill.

The score matters

Every exercise ends with a score and a quality: minimum, normal, good or fantastic training. That quality changes how much the chosen pet stat improves. An excellent result grants a larger increase; failure does not remove the pet or erase accumulated progress, but the reward is smaller.

The stats that can grow depend on role. A tank pet does not train damage, for example, and every rarity has its own limits. When one stat reaches its cap, the system looks for another that can still improve.

The action point is spent at the end

There is a technical decision behind a very simple rule: starting an exercise does not spend the action point yet. The server creates a time-limited challenge and validates the submitted sequence when you finish. Only then does it apply the increase and consume the resource.

This means you can close an exercise you did not want to play without paying for it, while the result does not depend solely on what the browser claims. The score is rebuilt from the actual actions, keeping the system consistent.

Hunting changes too

The same update stops finding a wild pet from being an automatic message. You now follow its trail, enter an encounter and choose how to lower its health, contain its escape or attempt the capture. Hunting earns the pet; training builds its long-term progress.

Both systems follow the same idea: pets should not be a hidden percentage inside a team. They need presence, their own card and a relationship built through play. The training field is now open in Triara for players at level 20.
