The pirate is one of Triara’s two small classes: 10 champions, 7 fighters and 3 tanks, spread over all five categories (2 Rookies, 3 Prospects, 3 Pros, 1 Star and 1 Legend). By ara, 0 Sun, 2 Moon and 8 Tide. Seeing one among your league’s free agents is rare, and for that very reason a good pirate is a signing few rivals will have.
As a fighter it is unpredictable: Lucky Shot, Flurry and Whirlwind let it strike several times or several enemies, and Boom is the active skill it shares with the mage. As a tank it has Sea Dog, which in the guide’s simulations came out level with the best knight skills.

A pirate’s power runs from 1,282 to 5,670; the strongest is Garen, a Legend, with 5,670, and the most powerful tank is Helros (3,524). By race there are 9 undead and 1 human.
Skills a pirate can learn
- As a tank: Last Stand, Sea Dog and Taunt.
- As a fighter: Whirlwind, Last Stand, Lucky Shot, Flurry, Boom and Blood Rush.
On top of that, every race has skills of its own that any of its champions can learn: Adaptive for humans, Undying and Curse for the undead, Hellfire and Curse for demons, Predator for beasts, Grace for elves and Fury for orcs; undead and demon shooters can also learn Life Steal. Each champion has two slots, every skill costs one orb, and orbs only come from the cup podium.
Lucky Shot measured among the best fighter skills in the game (14 to 17 points of win chance), and Sea Dog between 15 and 16 on a tank. With two orbs, Lucky Shot and Flurry on the same pirate is a pair almost nobody has.
The best of each category
Two per category, ordered by power. A tank’s power is not comparable with a fighter’s or a shooter’s, because a tank hits less by design: that is why the table shows the lane.

| Legend | Garen | Fighter | 5,670 | 2,646 | 47 |
| Star | Helros | Tank | 3,524 | 1,143 | 25 |
