The warrior is the most numerous class in Triara: 110 of the catalogue’s 288 champions, and the only one that truly fills two lanes. 81 play as fighters and 29 as tanks, more tanks than all the other classes put together. It is neither the class that hits hardest nor the one that lasts longest, but it is the one with the most options: there are warriors in all five categories, from 43 Rookies to 8 Legends, and in all three aras (27 Sun, 42 Moon and 41 Tide).
As a fighter, the warrior is a straightforward hitter: Battle Trained gives it punch, Blood Rush sends its critical hits soaring and Duelist makes it dodge and counter. As a tank it has Fortress, one of the best skills in the game, and Payback, which returns part of what it takes. It is the class almost everyone starts with and the one you see most in Bronze, which does not stop a Star warrior from being a signing that changes a team.
Warriors in figures
| Category | Champions | Power | Value | Wage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Legend | 8 | 4,602–8,207 | 1,743–5,544 | 38–68 |
| Star | 11 | 3,497–4,641 | 1,126–1,983 | 25–33 |
| Pro | 19 | 2,086–3,184 | 496–1,155 | 12–18 |
| Prospect | 29 | 1,600–2,361 | 305–663 | 5–8 |
| Rookie | 43 | 1,187–1,797 | 157–359 | 2–4 |
A warrior’s power runs from 1,187 to 8,207, and value and wage follow it, because in Triara both track power within each category. The strongest of the class is Belden, a Legend, with 8,207 power; among the tanks Galren leads with 4,732. By race there are 42 humans, 31 undead, 19 beasts, 8 orcs, 7 elves and 3 demons, and 13 of the 110 are women.
Skills a warrior can learn
- As a tank: Last Stand, Fortress, Payback and Taunt.
- As a fighter: Whirlwind, Last Stand, Battle Trained, Payback, Blood Rush and Duelist.
On top of that, every race has skills of its own that any of its champions can learn: Adaptive for humans, Undying and Curse for the undead, Hellfire and Curse for demons, Predator for beasts, Grace for elves and Fury for orcs; undead and demon shooters can also learn Life Steal. Each champion has two slots, every skill costs one orb, and orbs only come from the cup podium.
In the champion guide’s simulations, Duelist was the fighter skill that raised a warrior’s win chance the most, and Fortress the tank one, both around 15 points over 50%. The best pair in the game is a warrior’s too: Grace and Duelist on an elf warrior, close to 30 points.
The best of each category
Two per category, ordered by power. A tank’s power is not comparable with a fighter’s or a shooter’s, because a tank hits less by design: that is why the table shows the lane.
